Colin qualified as a solicitor in 1998. He specialises predominantly in family law, litigation/dispute resolution, wills, probate and settlement agreements and has notable cases reported in the Court of Appeal and High Court.
His litigation work also includes contentious probate disputes with one of his cases having been reported in the Wills & Trusts Law Reports (WTLR) and is referenced in two Law Society Legal Handbooks for Inheritance Act Claims and Contentious Probate.
Colin also has experience representing celebrities, other lawyers (including barristers), and high net worth clients including a client who appeared in The Times Richest 100 list.
Colin is a very experienced solicitor and acts for clients internationally as well as in the local courts and tribunals throughout the country. As stated above, he has also represented clients in the Royal Courts of Justice both in the Court of Appeal and High Court, in the High Court District Registries, the Employment Appeals Tribunal, and as part of High Profile Group Litigation.

Paula’s varied probate caseload has included complicated high-value Estates and complex intestate Estates whereby she traced unaware beneficiaries including those living overseas.
Every Estate however large or small is given the same meticulous attention to detail, and the emphasis is always on solid professional service and excellent client care.
Paula read Law at Aberystwyth University graduating with a 2:1 degree in 1995. Thereafter, Paula continued her professional training at the College of Law at Chester where she met her future husband and co-partner, Colin.
Catrin qualified as a Solicitor in 2017 and provides services in our litigation and private client departments
Catrin graduated with a bachelor of laws (honours) degree from John Moore’s University in 2008. After attaining a postgraduate qualification from the College of Law in Chester namely her Legal Practice Certificate, Catrin joined another well-established firm of solicitors where she trained, qualified, and remained as a solicitor for several years.

Impressively Keira obtained first-class honours law degree before joining Freeman Jones in 2016 where she trained and qualified as a solicitor.
Natalie joined Freeman Jones Solicitors as a graduate paralegal working in our Family and Litigation Departments. Natalie assists the directors and solicitors with all aspects of litigation, family, and child law cases.
